There are many reasons to want to have children. As they grow older there are some that move to the fore front of reasons. For an example so you can have them do the jobs you don't want to do yourself. Example #1 - my son is scratching for every dollar he can find to go to Spring Break with some of his friends. Supply and Demand. I have $20 bucks that he needs. I also had a several piles of dog crap in the yard that needed to be picked up. It was a great trade and it is the picture of the day.
