Nudists sue over public shooting range
SULTAN, Wash. (AP) -- You could say the right to "bare" arms is at issue in Washington state. Nudists are suing to block a public shooting range. Fans of the all-over tan want to stop plans for a gun range near their nudist park. The Lake Bronson Club contends the state can't transfer forestland to the county for a gun range. Club secretary Jodi Halfhill notes the proposed shooting range is just a mile from their campsites and hiking trails. But county officials tell a local paper (Daily Herald) they're confident the range will be approved.
